A Long Forgotten Update

So the ciscos are happily talking via the 2′ long T1 at this point — BGP is properly sharing routes between the routers and my core network and everyone can talk to everyone else.

I installed kernel 2.6.8.1 on the Cobalt RaQ and it seems to have worked wonders with stability and I’m going ahead to try migrating core routing services to it…again…hopefully this time it won’t puke and die under load.

Speaking of network load, I’ve got MRTG monitoring the core switch so if you so desire you can click here (www.ub3rgeek.net/mrtg/sw01/) to see the graphs of the individual ports.

That’s about it for now! More will come eventually :)
