I’ve got my 2 Cisco 2524 routers installed and working and am now waiting for my other T1 WIC so I can begin setting up my test network.
At this point it looks like the T1 card will be here monday and I should be able to start playing tuesday night.

I’ve replaced the batteries on both of my UPS’s ( they both went bad within a week of each other ) and have installed the SNMP management card in UPS02.

The entire core network is now battery backed up with a runtime of approximatly 20 minutes without commercial power.

I’ve fixed IPv6 into the network, the DNS updates should have made it across most of the ‘net by now.

Stupid Hurricane Electric deleted my tunnel for inactivity the other day, dispite IPv6 traffic steadily flowing for the last few weeks. Reguardless, I have the new tunnel setup, but have not fixed DNS yet. I will try and get to it tonight… I still have 2 or 3 servers to fix and then I’ll tackle DNS.

So I’m starting on my CCNP track and as a result I’m starting to build a Cisco lab. The terminal server and router should be here sometime next week, at which point I’ll be having fun playing with my new toys.

If anyone has a copy of the 12.3 IOS for a 2524 let me know, I’m specifically looking for c2500-is-l.12.3-6b.bin

I upgraded the OS from Slackware 8.0 to Slackware 9.1 with the latest copy of Bind 9, Sendmail 8.13.1, Apache 2.0.50 and php 5.0.0. Everything seems to be working tho there may be some kinks that will need to be worked out, please bear with me.
