gadget freak, ya ya yah.
Bluetooth® is a really neat short-range, low-power wireless protocol. It’s pretty fast, it’s pretty cheap to implement (about the same interface specs are IRDA) and promises to talk to a wide range of neat devices. I just wish that more devices (like my damn phone) would support it. Oh well. I’ve been mulling around the idea of setting up a d/b/a (doing business as) holding company to stuff my computer junk into so that I can possibly rent some space (cash flow allowing) elsewhere in the US to locate another server just for shits and giggles. I figure it could be done relativly cheaply, and would be pretty damn amusing. Probably a wild, never-gonna-happen idea, but who knows.
In the realm of meaningful shit, I’m probably going to be moving servers around this week, so don’t be surpised with downtime. It should be short tho.
